6082 belongs to the 6××× series (Al-Mg-Si) aluminum alloy, which is an aluminum alloy that can be strengthened by heat treatment, with medium strength and good weldability and corrosion resistance. 6082 aluminum alloy contains 0.7-1.3 silicon, 0.5 iron, 0.1 copper, 0.4-1.0 manganese, 0.6-1.2 magnesium, 0.25 chromium. 0.2 zinc, 0.1 titanium, excess aluminum. The tensile strength of 6082 is ≥205Mpa, the yield strength is ≥110Mpa, and the elongation is 14%, which is mainly used in the transportation and structural engineering industry.
